Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office

What You’ll Be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?

Assist the Senior Manager in developing, reviewing, and maintaining accounting policies and procedures across the company, including insurance, investment, lease, intangible assets and real estate accounting areas.

Support the implementation and adherence to IFRS accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Participate in internal control activities, including quarterly reviews, to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of financial processes.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, investment, and real estate teams, to ensure consistent application of accounting policies.

Prepare and support documentation for audit and regulatory reviews.

Monitor and analyze changes in accounting standards and regulations relevant to the company's activities.

You will report to Senior Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office.

What You Will BRING

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills And Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Relevant years of experience in accounting, with exposure to insurance, investment, lease, intangible assets and real estate accounting areas.

Effective understanding of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

Outstanding attention to detail, with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Skills And Abilities

Experience supporting internal control activities and process improvement initiatives.

Analytical mindset with effective attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Proficiency in MS Office tools.
