Job Description
Upload FA additions into Oracle taking into account FA Clinical/Commercial global policies
Run depreciation in Oracle as per rules and deadlines and verify depreciation each BU books posted correctly.
Input on Oracle any sort of fixed asset transactions other than monthly additions and depreciation (i.e. retirements, net downs, etc.)
Reconcile all FA accounts in scope following global financial calendar. Upload GL recs into PS workbench. As part of FA account reconciliations, maintain Oracle and PeopleSoft GL ledgers reconciled with sub ledgers. Investigate and adjust any kind of differences raised on monthly basis.
Keep adequate supporting documentation in Oracle and People soft and shared drivers that evidence FA additions.
Prepare listing for merger and acquisitions.
Prepare and submit Fixed Asset roll-forward for all entities in scope by WD+6
Provide support to each BU´s in relation with fixed asset statutory and all other requirements.
Assist internal and external audits (Tax department, Deloitte quarterly requirements).
Month end depreciation projection, Analysis reporting and accruals.
Handle merger various FA books (creation of entities, merge of entities, test databases, etc.)
Providing extended support during month end close and closing of books with accuracy.
Preparation of Depreciation projection and Analysis report.
Processing of Month end JV for expense and other non-FA items.
Flexible to work in rotational and extended shiftif required.
Qualifications - External
Should have strong financial accounting knowledge
Knowledge in fixed asset management.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Sage, or similar financial software.
Should have very good communication skills, both written and verbal
